Two dormitories were burnt leaving property worth millions of shillings destroyed.

According to the school head teacher Lukwago Mbaga, the security authorities with the school administrators have agreed to have the school closed to pave way for the investigations into the cause of the fire.

Mbaga says that 8 of the 10 students that were rushed to hospital following the fire outbreak have been discharged adding that two students are still hospitalized at Masaka referral hospital.

He says that they have asked the parents to pick their children from school adding that they will communicate when to re-open the school after the situation normalizes.
