The NRM’s manifesto week kicks off this morning with presentations by different government agencies and ministries on the status of manifesto implementation.

According to the program issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, the ministries of defence and internal affairs shall make their presentations this morning.

While the afternoon will see officials from the ministries of trade and tourism give accountability to the country on their sector performance.

According to the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, the NRM government has achieved 95% implementation of its manifesto commitments in the current term.

The key achievements he cites include revival of the Uganda Airlines, increased power generation and improved water access among others.
