The Somali police still needs help.

The Inspector General of the Somali police Brigadier General Abdul Hakim Dahil Sayid, has asked Uganda to help them in capacity building in order to ensure security in war-torn country.

Brigadier Hakim is in Uganda for a three -day visit to learn more about police operations in Uganda.

While meeting his counterpart Gen. Kale Kayihura at the police headquarters today, Hakim said Somali police is still lagging behind in terms of criminal investigations, police management, Public Order Management.

He is now calling for more assistance from Uganda if the whole region is to be free of terrorism.
