A woman in Lyantonde district has committed suicide over infidelity claims.
28 year old Merab Kyomuhangi, a mother of 3 has committed suicide claiming that she could not bear the pain of sharing her husband Bosco Byarugaba with another woman.
Kyomuhangi’s body was this morning found floating on a nearby
pond after she went missing on Monday night.
Elijah Bukenya Nakaseta Village Chairperson says the deceased had for long had disagreements with her husband over extra marital relationships.
However, Byarugaba has dismissed the allegations saying that his wife had developed a mental illness.
Lyantonde District Police Commander Timothy Keith Eyaku says the police have retrieved the body from the pond and taken it to the mortuary for postmortem tests.
