Over 1,000 students are set to graduate today at Uganda Christian University main campus in Mukono.
According to the University communications and marketing manager Micheal Mubangizi, 50.1% of these are male while the female granduands account for 49.9%.
Out of these, 43 have first class degrees with 24 being taken by females and males boys holding only 19 of them.
Mubaginzi adds that Bachelors of Law was the best performed course with 285 students followed by Bachelors of Social Works and Social Administration that has 116 students.
He reveals that the guest of honor is the Auditor General John Muwanga.
This will be the third graduation ceremony this year and first part of the 18th graduation ceremony.
