Andrew Desh Kananura charged

Kampala city mortor rally driver Andrew Desh Kananura has for the second time been charged with Murder before the Kampala Highcourt.

Desh , his brother Raymond Kananura and 3 other people have appeared this morning before Justice Joseph Murangira and denied beating Badru Kateregga to death, his former employee at Panamera bar and restraurant in Naguru in January 2013.

The group first appeared before Justice Masalu Musene in February this year and pleaded not guilty to the charge but the judge excused himself from hearing the case citing bias accusations from the public.

State Attorney’s form the DPP’s office say at the commencement of the trial on 26th/ November 2016, they will adduce evidence pinning the accused for taking the law within their hands when they beat Kateregga to death while accusing him of stealing Shs 30000 from the bar.
