Fire Destroys Jinja Market
Traders in Jinja are counting losses after a fierce fire destroyed Napier Market locate along Clive road East in Jinja Town.
Over 400 vendors are said to have lost property in an infernal whose cause the police are yet to establish.
The chief officer at Jinja police station Tony Sabala says the police fire brigade tried to put off the fire in vain due to lack of access through the narrow corridors of the market
He adds that they have not been able to save anything but investigations have commenced.
