Justice Minister summoned
The judiciary has been asked to expedite the process of offsetting the various election petitions that were lodged against some Members of Parliament.
According to the shadow internal affairs minister Muwanga Kivumbi , the public is confused on who is the right member of parliament in certain constituencies, where court ejected some legislators from parliament over electoral malpractice and lack of academic qualification among others issues
He has now asked the minister for justice and constitutional Affairs to brief parliament on this matter.
However recently the court of appeal started working on some of these appeals starting Busiro south where Hon peter ssematimba is a pealing against court ruling that evicted him out of parliament over academic credential.
