Kadaga asks for business for the House

The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has urged government to come up with timely business for the House as mandated by the Constitution.

Kadaga made the call this afternoon as she presided over the house on resumption of business after a one month recess.

Before parliament broke off for holiday last month, the speaker complained over continued absence of ministers in parliament sittings and failure by government to provide parliament with business to conduct.

Kadaga says before parliament breaks off for Christmas, it is expected to receive the Budget Frame Work paper for the 2017-2018 Financial year.
