David Kugonza | November 16, 2016

The executive director of Kampala capital city authority Jenipher Musisi has decried over limited funding from the government on infrastructure development in Kampala.

Speaking will touring roads in Kampala city ,Jenipher says limited funding from the government has affected the progress of these roads construction because KCCA and government approves the budget for the roads but less is released.

She notes that she has suspended 25 projects because there is no money asserting that contractor who had started the work are demanding over 16 billion threatening to pull off the contracts if this money is not given to them.

She also explains that flooding in Kampala has persisted because the money the government is releasing is not enough.
