Kiggundu defends his appointment

Outgoing electoral commission chairperson Eng Badru Kiggundu has defended his appointment to the Karuma project

President Museveni recently appointed out-going Electoral Commission chairman, Dr Badru Kiggundu, to chair a project steering committee to oversee the successful completion of Karuma and Isimba hydropower projects.

Now responding to concerns over his appointment to the team, Kiggundu said it could not have been a pay back or mere favor because he is qualified to do the job.

He applauds the president for choosing him for the task expressing confidence that he will deliver.
