Mayor of nakawa concerned over floodings.

The mayor of Nakawa division Ronald Balimweso has expressed concern over the increasing encroachment on the wet lands in Kampala.

According to Balimweso, floods in Kampala most especially in his constituency are very tense whenever it rain, because the wet lands that could harbor flooding water are housing buildings.

He explains that the whole of Kyambogo towards Banda always flood and one woman lost her life recently hence this must come to an end.

He thus notes that they have put up a committee to investigate why business men have continued to build in wetlands
