Mayors insists on Vendors

Government has been asked to introduce innovations which will be used to resolve the problem of vendors in the country.

The Mayor for Kasese Municipality Godfrey Kabbyanga says a new innovative solution must be initiated to ensure that vendors are accommodated.

He says infrastructures for vending in the city must be provided, because vending is not a new phenomenon and living them stranded will instead increase on the number of people living in poverty.

Recently Government directed all street vendors in Kampala to vacate the street as with immediate effect, as a measure of streaming trade disorder in the city.
