The parliamentary committee on Physical Infrastructure has dismissed the minister of Works and Transport Eng. Monica Azuba for lack of necessary documentation on issues regarding the status of roads in the country and the Standard Gauge Railway.

The committee chair Eng. Denis Sabiiti had summoned the minister and other stakeholders from UNRA to explain the roads situation especially those targeted to be complete between 2016-2020 as well as an update on the Standard Gauge Railway.

The minister however surprised members when she openly told them that she was not prepared for presentation as she had no written documents on the matters .

The minister then requested for a verbal presentation a request turned down by the committee
