MUK students to petition Janet today

Students of Makerere University are today petitioning the minister of education Janet kataha over the closure of the university

This follows president Museveni yesterday closing the university over the numerous strikes

Speaking to kfm, the guild president Roy sembogo says they want the education minister to explain how the students should be involved in the issue of lecturers when they paid their university dues.

They also want an explanation as to why the president had to order the closure of the university yet could solve the lecturers’ issues.
