One person has been confirmed dead and several others seriously injured in a fatal car accident that occurred this afternoon at Kakira inJinja District.
According the traffic police spokesperson Charles Ssebambuliidde, a commuter taxi registration No. UAZ 772/H rammed into a trailer truck Reg UAB99Y/ UAF 546/T which was turning off the main road.
The deceased has only been identified as Mukosi and other injured yet to be identified have been rushed to Jinja Hospital for treatment.
