The Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda has hailed the fallen former Kampala Mayor for his contribution to the country’s liberation struggle.
Dr Rugunda says the late John Ssebana supported the NRM in ensuring liberation of the country.
He says the late’s contribution did not only end at political liberation of the nation but also economic liberation
According to a tentative program released yesterday the late is to lie in state at City hall and Parliament tomorrow Thursday before a special session in the afternoon.
Funeral services are to be held on Friday at Sure house and Namirembe Cathedral before he is finally laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mpande- Kalule in Bulemeezi, Luweero district on Saturday.
