Sheikh Imran Katamba “Arabic teachers on government payroll”

Schools under the Islamic foundation have re-sounded a call to government, putting the Arabic teachers on the government payroll as it is the case to the Christian religious teachers.

Head teachers and school managers under the UMEA Islamic association says the burden of paying teachers, is levied on school authorities and the parents.

The head of DAAWA in Wakiso district Sheikh Imran Katamba says its high time government looked into the matter.

The Head teacher of Nama Umea P/S in Mukono district Jaudah Nassuuna explains how he manages to accommodate the religious teachers at her school.
