With the Easter holiday here, transport fares are already rising.
At Qualicel Bus Terminal, buses to Mbarara are now charging 25,000 from 20,000 while those heading to Mbale and Malaba now pay 23,000shs from 18,000shillings.
Some of the drivers attribute this to the growing number of people travelling.
However charges for the same routes remain the same for those using taxis.
