Uganda must not leave ICC

The opposition shadow minister for foreign Affairs Atkins Katusabe says Uganda should not withdrew its Membership from the international criminal court.

The concerned, comes after three ICC Member states from Africa decided to withdraw its Member ship the latest being Gambia where the international criminal court chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda hail from.

Katusabe who is also the Member of Parliament for Bukonzo west in Kasese district says Legislators should advise government on this issue.

He says that Uganda still needs this court.

A number of countries have been threatening to leave the international criminal court Uganda inclusive.
