Urgent policy needed on alcohol

As the mukono municipality member of parliament Betty Nambooze struggle to table her legislation on alcohol consumption, several Members of Parliament are worried about the increasing alcohol abuse in young generation,

According to Ayaka Rose the Maracha district woman member of parliament ,the situation has been worsened by companies which do open advertisements at trading centers where children gather and are given free alcohol Sackets to sample.

She explained that many children learn to abuse alcohol especially in vacations, thus strict policies must be drafted to limit youth access to alcohol especially during promotions.
