Woman gets 3 months jail for stealing a goat

Buyinja Court Grade one Magistrate in Namayingo District Alice Adong Amule has jailed a 35-year old woman for 3 months for stealing a goat.
Lyaka Florence a resident of Nambugu in Namayingo Town Council was found guilty of committing the offence on October 2.
The Magistrate pinned the culprit for stealing a He goat worth Shs 270 000 from her neighbor and took it to her relatives in another village where it was found hidden in a bedroom.
The Magistrate said she sentenced Lyaka to Namayingo prison for three months so that she refrains from the habit of stealing.
