1st lady attacked for turning deaf ear on MAK strike

By Damali Mukhaye.

The opposition forum for democratic change has attacked the minister of education Janet Museveni for turning a deaf ear to issues affecting Makerere University.

According to the FDC party president Patrick Amuriat, the strike by lecturers has entered the fourth week, yet the minister has not come out to help in solving the impasse between the management and the striking staff.

He threatens that if nothing is done by next week, they are to mobilize parents, students and the staff over the same.

The minister recently speaking at the release of the UCE examination results said that she had been informed that lectures wereon going normally.
