Adjumani boreholes run dry

David Kugonza | October 19, 2016

Residents of Itirikwa subcounty in Adjumanni district have been forced to fetch water from streams.

This is after the boreholes dried up due to the prolonged dry spell experienced in many parts of the country.

Speaking to KFM the sub county LC3 chairperson Jesus Iranya confirmed the drying up of many boreholes which has made it extremely hard for people to access water.

He reveals that it has not only affected members of the local community but schools and health centres as well.
