Andrew Felix Kaweesi has explained why MUK students had to vacate

David Kugonza | November 2, 2016

The police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi has explained why the students of Makerere have been ordered to vacate the university premises saying that they would have been vulnerable to manipulations if left at the varsity.

Kaweesi explains that hostel students are vulnerable to many manipulations at campus because these are more problematic in terms of violence.

He also says students need not to stay in buffer areas as this may cause more commotion as they will be exposed to committing crimes.

He says police is evacuating international students because there is no specific period of closure of the university.
