Burundi situation could have been avoided – Cpt Mike Mukula

The situation in Burundi could have been avoided. This was according to Soroti Municipality Member of Parliament Mike Mukula who said leaders ought to learn to give way to democracy to take course.

Mukula said Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza still had a means to leadership after ten years which did not take advantage of.

Meanwhile Dismus Nkunda, a political analyst scoffs at beliefs that what happened in Burundi can actually happen here.

They were appearing on the Hot seat talk show last evening to assess the situation in Burundi and the way forward for the Burundians.
