FUFA clears Micho’s arrears

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations has revealed that it has cleared all the salary arrears it owed former national coach, Milutin ‘Micho’Sredojevic.

Micho terminated his contract on July 29th 2017 because of the accumulated debt of Shs 194 million that the federation had been struggling to pay.

According to the FUFA president Moses Magogo, the federation managed to settle Micho’s arrears after receiving 20,000 USD from government, 34,000USD was got from their reserves.

Before his departure Micho had led the Uganda Cranes to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of nations for the first time in 38 years.

He is now the head coach of Orlando Pirates Football Club in South Africa.
