FUFA Confirms That All Cranes Players Are Safe

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations says the Uganda Cranes team is safe.
The team was involved in a motor accident at Jami a few Kilo Metres from Kamonkoli near Mbale Town where the Bus they were travelling in collided with a commuter taxi after a front tyre of the bus got a puncture.
In a statement, FUFA says all Uganda Cranes players and officials are safe.
Ahmed Hussein, FUFA’s Head of Communications and players Kezironi Kizito, Denis Okot Oola and Hassan Wasswa Dazo survived with minor injuries and were given first aid.
Efforts were later made to secure other means of transport for the team back to Kampala.
