IGG probes ‘fraud’ at Mityana hospital
The Inspectorate of Government (IGG) Beti Kamya will this morning hold a boardroom meeting at Mityana hospital to discuss matters related to the alleged mismanagement of the facility.
The meeting will be attended by the District Health Officer Mityana district and members of the hospital administration including the hospital administrator and the hospital management committee.
According to Micheal Tumukurate, the head of Kampala regional office, any other officer deemed relevant, will be allowed in this meeting.
Previously, Mityana hospital has been in the spotlight over a number of equipment meant for the hospital that got lost under unclear circumstances.
