David Kugonza | December 30, 2016

Dorcus Inzikuru has asked government to allocate more funds to develop the sports industry in the country.

She says the sports industry has the potential to attract foreign investors to come and invest in the country, because when the sports men and women won medals, the country is known worldwide.

Inzikuru made the remarks, while officiating at the opening of Victoria Academy primary school in Mutundwe, and were she said parents must ensure that they encourage their children to participate in sports.

Dorcus Inzikuru won the Women’s 3000m steeplechase at the 2005 world Athletics championships in Helsinki Finland.
