KCCA floors SC Villa in city derby to extend lead
City rivals Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) outclassed rivals Sports Club Villa Jogoo 3-1 in the highly explosive Uganda Premier league derby at the Phillip Omondi astro stadium.
Goals from Striker Paul Mucureezi ,Derrick Nsibambi and reigning MVP Joseph Benson Ochaya gave the hosts the advantage they needed.
The Jogoos rallied back in the opening minutes of the second stanza with the equalizer off left footed winger Abdulmalick Vitalis Tabu’s well converted penalty but it wasnt enough to get a point from the game.
KCCA further consolidate their grip on the league summit with 28 points off 12 games.
The Jogoos remain on 21 points from 11 games.
