Man Jumps Off Mukono Building
A man has jumped off a police building after he was charged with theft.
27-year-old Bernard Omara has survived death after he jumped off a three storied building that houses Seeta Police Station to reportedly commit suicide and avoid being taken to court
on charges of theft.
The resident of Kasenyi village in Goma Division Mukono has sustained injuries and fractures and has been rushed to Mulago hospital for treatment.
The man is said to have been arrested by residents after stealing a sack of cassava.
The OC Station Seeta Police Joshua Kananura confirmed the incident saying Omara was arrested after he was caught stealing cassava from police chief political commissar Fred Yiga’s garden.
