Manchester United & Liverpool avoid each other for the semi’s of the EFL Cup.

David Kugonza | December 1, 2016

Manchester United have been drawn against Hull City for the semi-final stage of the EFL Cup.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will take on Southampton in the other semi-final tie. The ties, which are decided over two legs, take place in January.

Both Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho are looking to win their first major trophies with their sides and the EFL Cup will provide the first real opportunity of the season, with the final to take place in February.

United host Hull City in the first leg before visiting the KCOM. Liverpool will travel to St Mary’s for their semi-final first leg.
