Mao condemns police on blocking party activities

Democratic Party has condemned police in Bukomansimbi for blocking the party’s coordinator Joseph Mayanja from conducting the ongoing fresh national registration of all its members.

Addressing journalists this morning, the party president Nobert Mao said the move is one of the activities stated in the road map for 2021 elections aimed at re-registering party members to establish the actual number of voters DP has.

Mao has thus asked the police to stop blocking opposition activities because they are operating within the armpits of the stipulated laws.
