Micho releases squad

Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has released a 40 man provisional squad in preparation for AFCON 2017 tournament in Gabon.

Releasing the squad, Micho explained that no one is guaranteed a starting place and every player must compete for their slot.

The squad has 5 goalkeepers, 12 defenders, 15 midfielders and 8 strikers that will compete for 23 places to represent Uganda at AFCON early next year.

These summoned include captain Geoffrey Massa, Denis Onyango, Nicholas Wadada , Joseph Ochaya Khalid Aucho, Tony Mawejje Farouk Miya among others.

Uganda is grouped against Ghana, Egypt and Mali
