Local leaders in Pallisa District are concerned about the increasing cases of Hepatitis B.
Ten new cases have been registered in the areas of Petete, Opwateta and Kameke sub-counties, three of which are said to be fatal.
The senior district clinical officer, Anthony Kalele says the biggest challenge is the attitude of the people with many preferring traditional healers.
Kalele says the district is assessing the situation.
