Police blocks Dr Col Kizza Besigye from moving out of his home

Besigye was scheduled to depart to South Africa today at 9am where he is slated to address the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) Conference sitting in Durban, South Africa, on Thursday 10th Nov 2016.

According to the party mobilizer Ingrid Turinawe, police blocked Dr Besigye from leaving his home and questioned his intention to access the city.

Currently he is still at Kasangati police station pending clearance from police to proceed with the journey.
