Ssegirinya arrested

Police has arrested Kawampe division councilor Muhammad Ssegirinya for allegedly inciting violence among street vendors.

This week KCCA and police started off a controversial operation to kick vendors off the street.

Speaking to kfm, the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Emilian Kayima said that ssegirinya was found busy mobilizing vendors to remain on the street despite a directive from the minister.

He explained that he is now at CPS as he awaits respective trails in courts of law for inciting violence.
