Tumwebaze hits at Besigye food project

David Kugonza | November 5, 2016

The minister of Information Technology and Communications Frank Tumwebaze has scoffed at Besigye’s relief program as a populist move without good intention.

The minister’s reaction follows a declaration by former FDC Presidential candidate rtc Col Dr Kizza Besigye in forming a committee to solicit domestic and foreign food relief to famine stricken districts.

Tumwebaze says that Besigye is using the situation for political gains on advice from foreign donors that he declined to mention.

However Besigye said that the situation at hand need not attract political gossip.
