The Bishop of Lugazi Diocese, Rev. Christopher Kakooza has appealed to government to collaboratively work with the church in helping people access clean water.
Bishop Kakooza made the remarks while launching a shallow well at Holy Cross and Mother of God Church, Kangulumira Parish in Kayunga district.
The Shs.20 Million shallow well was constructed by parents of St. Ponsiano Ngondwe SS in Kangulumira with support from the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Maurice Kigoye.
Bishop Kakooza revealed that Kayunga as a district is a dry area with distant water sources hence people find difficulties in getting clean water for use.
